RECREATIONAL PILOT PERMIT

If so, this course is the perfect fit for you!
The Recreational Pilot Permit is a Transport Canada approved course intended for those who wish to fly as a hobby! Individuals are limited to day VFR and can have no more than one passenger. Topics covered include; Air regulations, rules and orders, air traffic services, practices and procedures, and licensing requirements relevant to the permit; navigation, radio aids and electronic theory; Meteorology; General Knowledge of airframes, engines and systems, theory of flight, flight instruments, flight operations and human factors.
-- Least 16 years of age
- Shall hold a Category 4 Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 25 hours flight training which includes:
- 15 hours dual (2 hours cross-country flight)
- 5 hours solo
- There is no minimum requirement of ground school, however applicants must pass the Transport Canada (RPPAE) written exam with a minimum of 60%
